4. You can also search by their GDC ID number or their case number. 
5. Click on "Search."

How to Search for Inmates in Federal Prisons 

If you believe that an inmate may be housed in a federal facility located within Georgia, there are several ways to search for them:

2. Call the BOP's inmate locator hotline at 202-307-3126.

VINELink is a free online portal that allows individuals to track changes in custody status and receive notifications about specific inmates throughout various stages of incarceration including release dates. 

To use VINELink: 

1. Visit https://vinelink.com/. 
2. Select "Georgia" from the drop-down menu on their homepage. 
3. Agree to their terms of use. 
4. Enter your search criteria (typically first and last name). 
5. Click on "Search." 

VINELink will return any matching results based on your query along with additional information such as custody status, location and expected release date if applicable.
