Ada County Jail is a 698-beds regional correctional facility in Boise, Idaho. It houses about 655 inmates under the supervision of over 150 staff members. The Ada County Jail is operated by Ada County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Ada County Jail holds more than 468 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 20% of them being women.

Ada County Jail was founded in 1977 and named after Boise, a popular associate justice at the Supreme court of Idaho.
