DuPage County Jail is a 695-beds regional correctional facility in Wheaton, Illinois. It houses about 604 inmates under the supervision of over 170 staff members. The DuPage County Jail is operated by Dupage County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the DuPage County Jail holds more than 470 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 20% of them being women.

DuPage County Jail was founded in and named after Wheaton, a popular associate justice at the Supreme court of Illinois.

Sending a Mail/ Package

Inmates at DuPage County Jail can send and receive mails from loved ones. These are, however, strictly inspected to prevent the entry of contrabands. The mails are processed through the US Postal Services.

Inmates at the DuPage County Jail are allowed to receive both onsite and online visits from their loved ones. Visitors are expected to engage the DuPage County Jail authorities to schedule their visits. Onsite visits are limited to weekdays between 8.30 am and 4.20 pm while online visits happen any day of the week between 8.30 am and 8.50 pm.
