Lee County Jail is a 744-beds regional correctional facility in Dixon, Illinois. It houses about 656 inmates under the supervision of over 129 staff members. The Lee County Jail is operated by Lee County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Lee County Jail holds more than 458 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 15% of them being women.
