St. Clair County Jail is a 700-beds regional correctional facility in Belleville, Illinois. It houses about 680 inmates under the supervision of over 127 staff members. The St. Clair County Jail is operated by St. Clair County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the St. Clair County Jail holds more than 539 federal inmates daily.
