Wells County Jail is a 695-beds regional correctional facility in Bluffton, Indiana. It houses about 625 inmates under the supervision of over 125 staff members. The Wells County Jail is operated by Wells County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Wells County Jail holds more than 501 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 15% of them being women.
