Grant County Jail is a 682-beds regional correctional facility in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. It houses about 697 inmates under the supervision of over 153 staff members. The Grant County Jail is operated by Grant County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Grant County Jail holds more than 470 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 17% of them being women.

Grant County Jail was founded in and named after Elbow Lake, a popular associate justice at the Supreme court of Minnesota.
