Scott County Jail is a 739-beds regional correctional facility in Shakopee, Minnesota. It houses about 622 inmates under the supervision of over 145 staff members. The Scott County Jail is operated by Scott County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Scott County Jail holds more than 508 federal inmates daily.
