Nemaha County Jail is a 716-beds regional correctional facility in Auburn, Nebraska. It houses about 697 inmates under the supervision of over 136 staff members. The Nemaha County Jail is operated by Nemaha County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Nemaha County Jail holds more than 476 federal inmates daily.
