Pierce County Jail is a 715-beds regional correctional facility in Pierce, Nebraska. It houses about 626 inmates under the supervision of over 123 staff members. The Pierce County Jail is operated by Pierce County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Pierce County Jail holds more than 517 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 16% of them being women.
