Elko County Jail is a 707-beds regional correctional facility in Elko, Nevada. It houses about 637 inmates under the supervision of over 143 staff members. The Elko County Jail is operated by Elko County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Elko County Jail holds more than 511 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 18% of them being women.

Elko County Jail was founded in and named after Elko, a popular associate justice at the Supreme court of Nevada.
