Queens County Jail is a 714-beds regional correctional facility in Long Island, New York. It houses about 696 inmates under the supervision of over 168 staff members. The Queens County Jail is operated by Queens County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Queens County Jail holds more than 453 federal inmates daily.
