Columbia County Jail is a 700-beds regional correctional facility in St. Helens, Oregon. It houses about 615 inmates under the supervision of over 143 staff members. The Columbia County Jail is operated by Columbia County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Columbia County Jail holds more than 526 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 16% of them being women.
