Obion County Jail is a 709-beds regional correctional facility in Union City, Tennessee. It houses about 690 inmates under the supervision of over 171 staff members. The Obion County Jail is operated by Obion County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Obion County Jail holds more than 512 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 20% of them being women.
