Blanco County Jail is a 680-beds regional correctional facility in Johnson City, Texas. It houses about 634 inmates under the supervision of over 154 staff members. The Blanco County Jail is operated by Blanco County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Blanco County Jail holds more than 450 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 15% of them being women.

Blanco County Jail was founded in and named after Johnson City, a popular associate justice at the Supreme court of Texas.
