Hood County Jail is a 755-beds regional correctional facility in Granbury, Texas. It houses about 621 inmates under the supervision of over 129 staff members. The Hood County Jail is operated by Hood County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Hood County Jail holds more than 502 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 20% of them being women.
