The Hunt County Jail is operated by Hunt County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Hunt County Jail holds more than 462 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 20% of them being women.
