Real County Jail is a 730-beds regional correctional facility in Leakey, Texas. It houses about 613 inmates under the supervision of over 154 staff members. The Real County Jail is operated by Real County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Real County Jail holds more than 519 federal inmates daily.
