Boise County Jail is a 766-beds regional correctional facility in Idaho City, Idaho. It houses about 697 inmates under the supervision of over 158 staff members. The Boise County Jail is operated by Boise County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Boise County Jail holds more than 521 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 20% of them being women.
