Huron County Jail is a 736-beds regional correctional facility in Norwalk, Ohio. It houses about 689 inmates under the supervision of over 147 staff members. The Huron County Jail is operated by Huron County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Huron County Jail holds more than 532 federal inmates daily.
