Campbell County Jail is a 683-beds regional correctional facility in Mound City, South Dakota. It houses about 659 inmates under the supervision of over 126 staff members. The Campbell County Jail is operated by Campbell County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Campbell County Jail holds more than 462 federal inmates daily. The largest population of inmates here are men, with just 18% of them being women.
