Quitman County Jail is a 720-beds regional correctional facility in Georgetown, Georgia. It houses about 628 inmates under the supervision of over 122 staff members. The Quitman County Jail is operated by Quitman County Sherriff, Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Federal U.S. Marshal, among other major agencies. Consequently, in addition to housing local offenders, the Quitman County Jail holds more than 478 federal inmates daily.
